Today I am going to show you two ways you can use to remove a remote control from your Centralis RTS receiver unit.
So let's have a look. You can read the instructions below, or watch this video:
What you need is a thin screwdriver or you can use a paper clip to press the program button on the remote controls.
Option 1: Via the receiver module
The first way of removing remote control is by using the program button on the receiver unit.
You have to be able to access this unit, of course. If that's not an option, wait for the second method. But let's start with this one.
What I'm going to do is put this in program mode.
I'm going to do that by pressing the programme button and holding it until the motor responds.
Next, I'm going to remove this remote control. I'm going to do that by turning it over and pressing the program button on the back and that's it. So as you can see, it's now been removed.
So that's the first option.
Option 2: via the another remote control
The second option is by removing it through a remote control itself. So the way to do that is as follows.
I'm going to turn the remote control around.
And I'm going to turn around the remote control that I want to keep.
I'm going to press the program button to put the receiver in programming mode. And now I'm going to remove this the other remote control by pressing the program button on the back of the remote I want to remove.
I'm going to wait until the motor responds and that's it, the remote control has been removed from the memory of the Centralis indoor RTS.
And the one that I want to keep is still working.
So there you have it. Two ways of removing remote control, one through the program button on the receiver module. The other other one is through the remote control.
