Somfy Smart Smoke Detector IO

The smart Somfy smoke detector alerts residents in the event of smoke detection with its own siren and can have the house respond automatically via the TaHoma.

At the slightest detection of smoke, the loud 85 decibel siren activates. The smoke detector functions best when multiple Somfy smart smoke detectors are present - in this case, the siren automatically goes off in all other somfy smart smoke detectors present as well. In this way, the resident in the bedroom, for example, will be informed when a fire breaks out in the kitchen so that they can still react in time.

Loud signal and message when smoke develops

This wireless smoke detector complements the Somfy Smart Home system TaHoma. When the smoke detector detects smoke, it gives a loud signal. When connected to the TaHoma, it is possible to receive a text message, push message or e-mail when smoke is detected.

Interlinked

The smoke detectors are automatically interconnected, which means that if, for example, a smoke detector in the attic goes off, it sends a signal to the other Somfy smoke detectors elsewhere in the house, so that they too will sound the alarm. It is very safe!

Direct message in case of danger

When the smoke detector is paired with a Somfy TaHoma, you receive immediate notification on your smartphone. Multiple receivers can be added so that, for example, neighbors can also receive a message*

A safe escape route

If you also connect lights or shutters with a somfy motor to the TaHoma, you can link them with the smoke detector. If the smoke detector goes off, the lights go on automatically and the shutters open. This way you create a safe escape route.

Wireless, easy to install yourself

The smoke detector is wireless and therefore easy to install yourself. It is wise to install several smoke detectors in your home so that you are always immediately alerted with a loud signal. Thanks to the test button, you can easily check whether the smoke detector is still working. Moreover, the system continuously tests itself and when the battery is low, this will be indicated via a sound signal and/or the TaHoma.
