Weighting irons for shutters and screens
Weighting irons to place in the bottom frame of a shutter or screen. This allows small and light shutters to roll down more smoothly.
Characteristics:
- 30 cm long and 175 grams heavy
- 3 mm thick
- rounded corners for easy insertion
Do you have a roller shutter that doesn't run down smoothly? Then, of course, you can try to reduce friction with lubricants. But that does not always give sufficient results. Certainly not if you have a small or light roller shutter.
Then these weighting irons are a good option, because you can easily slide them into the bottom rail. Gravity then does the rest.
Sliding in is easy, thanks to the rounded ends. The length is 30 cm, so you can easily determine how many pieces you need. So no cutting off is necessary.
And you just slide in as many parts as will fit and as you need for proper operation. These parts can also help with motors such as the RS100, which determine the direction of rotation due to the weight of the shutter.
To prevent rusting, parts are galvanized.
